The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a military role or equivalent private sector experience.
- Formal open source intelligence training.
- Proven experience of critical thinking, analytical and decision making skills.
- High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong understanding of threat types and trends.
- A strong understanding of global geopolitical trends and emerging threats and risks.

Responsibilities
- Collect, evaluate, escalate and disseminate intelligence to support action plans based on credibility and likelihood. Provide intelligence support to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in incident response, crisis management and global travel management.
- Use open source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to Google, our employees, and our interests. Collect, evaluate, escalate and disseminate intelligence to support action plans based on credibility and likelihood.
- Provide intelligence support to GSOC in incident response, crisis management and global travel management. Support in the development of protocols and practices to assess and mitigate issues to Google, to drive efficiency, and to manage crises. Oversee pan regional coverage when needed.
