Department of Nursing is seeking part-time clinical instructors for the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. The program will begin Fall 2023.
Duties And Responsibilities
Supervision and evaluation of 8-10 nursing student in the hospital, clinic, community, simulation, and lab setting.
Grade clinical assignments and complete weekly, midterm, and final student evaluations.
Provide students with timely feedback regarding clinical performance.
Work in collaboration with the course coordinator
Attend departmental meetings and in-services.
Develops a positive relationship with administrators and nursing staff at clinical facilities.
Comply with policies and procedures set forth by the Department of Nursing and clinical facilities.
Participate in professional development to remain current in nursing education and practice.
Acts as a role model for students and peers.
Exhibits professional and ethical morals, beliefs, and values.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing.
An unencumbered Registered Professional Nurse License in the state of Georgia.
Three (3) + years' experience in professional nursing practice.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team.
Successful completion of a background check and urine drug screen.
