Neuropsychologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Interpreting assessment results and preparing detailed reports.
• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Providing individualized treatment plans and recommendations based on assessment findings.
• Offering counseling and support to patients and their families regarding cognitive and emotional challenges.
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Staying informed about advancements in neuropsychological research and techniques.

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Louisiana.
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN) preferred.
• Proven experience in neuropsychological assessment and treatment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
