The nCino Platform Owner position is included in a workplace model that allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.

As a nCio Platform Owner, essential responsibilities include: 

  • Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross functional teams, architects, product owners, and developers.
  • Lead the administration, configuration and development of the Salesforce and nCino platform.
  • Collaborates closely with nCino Product Owner and other stakeholders to create a strategic roadmap that accelerates and advances the bank’s nCino platform and related systems, by defining architecture, methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Design, document, build, test, and deploy enhancements to nCino custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, business reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously improve data quality, process integrity and productivity.
  • Develops and documents best-practice support frameworks centered on and interfacing with nCino management to include release management.
  • In partnership with IT, ensures that all needed data integrations to or from the bank’s Salesforce and nCino systems, including the bank’s Informatica environment, meet business objectives, and are properly documented, engineered, developed, and supported.
  • Develops and ensures adherence to change management and vendor management processes and policies, especially including the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) policy and Information Security policies and procedures.
  • Works closely with nCino Product Owner to identify business unit requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets and alignment with Information Technology strategy.
  • Maintains up-to date- knowledge of emerging technology trends and identifies opportunities where technology might be deployed to deliver business improvements.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement or enhancement and negotiates agreements and commitments between business partners and nCino Product Owner.
  • Works on multiple projects evaluating and identifying project complexity, constraints, and dependencies.
  • Support end users on system issues.
  • Clearly communicates product vision, technical requirements and roadmap to stakeholders across all departments.
  • Ability to use independent judgment, investigation, concept development, and collaboration with other departments.
  • Serve as an adept advisor to leadership.
  • Coaching and mentoring internal contacts through technical and nontechnical challenges.

Skills Needed

  • Proven record of accomplishment of successfully launching and managing technology platforms.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile) and development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven advocate for best practices in software design and development.
