Position: Winter Musical Director

Building: OMS

FTE: N/A

Non-licensed

Temporary, part time (extracurricular)

Start: January 1st - April 7th (approx)

Wage: Stipend paid

Requirements:

  • Experience coaching and mentoring middle school theatre students;
  • Experience and comfort working and connecting with a diverse student population including LGBTQIA+ students.
  • Experience with all aspects of a theatre production: auditions, casting, blocking, rehearsals, acting work and concentration, costuming, makeup, technical aspects such as lighting and set design, and a working knowledge of theatre terms, expectations, and culture.
  • The Assistant Director will participate in a production meeting prior to auditions.
  • The Assistant Director will meet with the Director prior to auditions to discuss the Assistant Director’s responsibilities and duties for the show.
  • Attend all auditions and discuss casting decisions with the director
