Job Summary
Are you detail-oriented and motivated to ensure accuracy? As a Mortgage Disclosure Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in preparing, reviewing, and distributing disclosure documents. Your work will ensure compliance with regulations and support our commitment to exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review disclosure documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Stay updated on changes in laws affecting disclosure requirements.
Conduct audits of disclosure documents and processes.
Support internal teams with disclosure-related questions and issues.
Maintain organized records of all disclosure documents.
Ensure timely distribution and filing of disclosures.
Communicate effectively with various departments.
Collaborate with teams to gather necessary information for disclosures.
Address and resolve discrepancies related to disclosure documents.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
2-3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.
Experience with disclosure processes in real estate or financial services.
Understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA).
Proficiency in document and compliance software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
