Candidate must be local to San Diego as this is a yearlong internship.

This role is responsible for taking inputs from multiple functional groups and translating them into designs for new or revised turbomachinery components. This role is responsible for supplying CAD models/drawings to analysis, manufacturing, and suppliers.

This position will:

• Create, interpret, review, and revise engineering drawings (both 2D and 3D)
• Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices to help obtain the desired form, fit, and function
• Create layouts as required to convey new design concepts and resolutions to engineering challenges
• Assist the group with other types of document generation (Manufacturing plan models, PPAP documents for MBD parts, Kit models, etc)
• Currently in the process of obtaining a 4 year or advanced degree in Engineering or related degree.
  
  

Summary Pay Range:

$20.50 - $36.90
