The Strategy & Planning team oversees and operationalizes movement-wide strategic planning, leveraging research, data and analytics to make informed decisions. The team is data-driven and provides a sense of analytic rigor around establishing and measuring KPIs, evaluating performance of initiatives, and managing enterprise risk. Functions within the team include: Strategic Planning, Enterprise Risk Management, Research, Analytics, & Enterprise Data Management.
You Will
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Manager to join our dynamic team. The Strategic Planning Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing the GSUSA’s strategic initiatives to drive growth, sustainability, and innovation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities , strong business acumen, and the ability to effectively partner with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Planning : Support the development and execution of GSUSA’s annual strategic plan , as well as development and execution of the Movement’s 3-year strategy . This includes :
Strategic Initiatives : Support cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives, such as new delivery models, product launches, and market expansions. This includes:
Innovation : Facilitate strategic planning workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster innovation within the organization. Drive the ideation, development, and prioritization of new initiatives, products, and services. Manage pipeline of new opportunities to test, measure and implement.

Required Competencies
Salary Range: $90,000 - $117,000

You Will

Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Planning : Support the development and execution of GSUSA’s annual strategic plan , as well as development and execution of the Movement’s 3-year strategy . This includes :
- Managing the framework and template used by all GSUSA teams throughout the annual strategic planning process
- Creating and managing the planning timeline/calendar
- Coordinating and aligning with GSUSA’s Finance team for the budgeting process
- Managing the strategic initiatives prioritization process
- Managing the Quarterly Business Review Process (timeline, template, highlighting progress/gaps to plan)
- Supporting development of the annual Business Plan
- Analysis and synthesis of data/research/stakeholder input to support the 3-year Movement strategy priorities, initiatives and roadmap
- Support development of the 3-year Movement strategy roadmap and ongoing, annual updates
Strategic Initiatives : Support cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives, such as new delivery models, product launches, and market expansions. This includes:
- Managing initiatives identified as part of the 3-year Movement strategy from ideation through testing through evaluation and potentially launch
- Assemble team with relevant skill sets (GSUSA and Movement)
- Develop test/pilot plans, including objective , scope, deliverables, timeline, KPIs, etc.
Innovation : Facilitate strategic planning workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster innovation within the organization. Drive the ideation, development, and prioritization of new initiatives, products, and services. Manage pipeline of new opportunities to test, measure and implement.

Required Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract actionable insights, as well as ability to conduct business modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels, build consensus and convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with strategic planning tools and methodologies (e.g., SWOT analysis, scenario planning, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for innovation, creativity, and continuous learning, with a strong desire to make a meaningful impact.
- Office 365 or similar suites
- Competency in PowerPoint or similar presentation software
- Competency in Micro soft Excel or similar software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in strategic planning, business development, or consulting roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment, with track record of driving successful strategic initiatives.
