Position Overview

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Manager of Sales Education to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive sales training programs for our salesforce. Reporting to the Director of Professional Education, this role is pivotal in equipping our sales team with the knowledge, tools, and techniques necessary to excel in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales learning plans aligned with company objectives and sales targets.

Create and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, workshops, e-learning modules, and sales playbooks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, medical education, and sales leadership, to ensure training initiatives align with product launches and market demands.

Continuously assess training needs and effectiveness through feedback mechanisms, performance metrics, and field observations.

Identify best practices and innovative approaches to enhance sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and selling skills.

Lead and mentor a team of sales trainers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to refine training content and methodologies continually.

Manage the implementation and utilization of sales enablement tools and technologies to enhance training delivery and effectiveness.

Collaborate with sales leadership to reinforce training initiatives and promote the adoption of best practices in the field.

Evaluate the impact of sales training programs on key performance indicators, such as sales revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, clinical, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

3+ years of experience in sales training, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.

Proven track record of designing and implementing successful sales education programs that drive measurable results.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.

Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.

Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

Strategic thinker capable of translating business goals into actionable training strategies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and sales enablement platforms.

Willingness to travel as needed to support training initiatives and field activities.
