Manager, Loyalty Programs

What You Get To Do

  • Manage planning, communication and activation for loyalty programs, like Annual Pass, Fun Card, Pre-school Card, Military and Teacher Pass. Develop communication programs, analyze visitation data and create in park programs, benefits and activation.
  • Oversee the Tampa Parks Pass Member and Fun Card programs, focusing on acquisition of new Pass Members, increasing visitation of members and retention of current members for Busch Gardens and Adventure Island
  • Together with Sea World Parks and Entertainment’s corporate team, develop and execute the Annual Pass and Fun Card marketing strategy and communication plan
  • Own Pass Member Events: develop 12-15 Pass Member events each year at a rate of about 1/month. Lead event planning and work with events team to execute. Manage the Pass Member marketing event budget.
  • Responsible for strategy, content and execution of Busch Gardens and Adventure Island emails as well as those developed for all Parks by Corporate.
  • Familiarity and expertise in the practice of email marketing
  • Work closely with Revenue Management team on pricing and positioning of all ticket and upgrade products
  • Analyze weekly reports and providing insights and recommendations for action
  • Work closely with in-park revenue and corporate teams to secure, build, and promote Fun Card and Pass Member offers that contribute to the overall financial goals of the parks
  • Work closely with all Pass and Product managers at all SWE parks and Corporate partners to align and share best practices.
  • Serve as a project manager for special projects as needed

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related business field
  • At least 3 years of experience in consumer promotion/activation development/marketing and new product development
  • Background in creating or building a customer loyalty program and/or experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt communication style to a number of different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to review data from multiple sources and recommend the best course of action
  • Able to demonstrate persistence and the ability to influence situations to achieve desired goals to generate high quality results on multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to manage and prioritize diverse projects
  • Able to multitask and work in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
  • Ability to work nights and weekends when needed.
