Manager, Data Analytics & Visualization

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Analytics professional with both managerial experience and a willingness to be hands-on with data visualization. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in business analytics, proficiency in creating impactful visualizations, and a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team. This role involves leading projects, collaborating with technical teams, and interacting with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery. The candidate will balance strategic oversight with hands-on creation and implementation of visualizations.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data sets to identify key insights and trends.
• Create data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Ensure visualizations are clear, concise, and effectively communicate insights.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Gather requirements and understand user needs from stakeholders.
• Lead projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards adherence.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes for dashboards.
• Create diverse dashboard templates tailored to different data visualization needs.
• Incorporate UX/UI and human-centered design principles into visualizations.
• Provide hands-on creation and implementation of data visualizations.
• Mentor junior team members in delivering solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and data storytelling.
• Proven experience in leading projects and delivering successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills with experience in requirement gathering.
• Ability to create clear and impactful data visualizations.
• Proficiency in prototyping design tools like Canva, Figma, or Sketch.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and human-centered design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative solution development.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for creating visually appealing data visualizations.
