Job Title: Federal Logistics Coordinator (DPAS)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Property Accountability Operator to be responsible for supply chain management. Logistics Property Accountability Operator responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of property.

The requirements under this contract are to provide services and support to our customer located in Washington, DC, specifically focusing on day-to-day operations, property accountability, and logistics support. Duties include but are not limited to: planning; execution; and management of infrastructure, logistics and property accountability, which includes conducting inventory of accountable equipment at the warehouse and obtaining receiving and issuance documents to support acquire to retire requirements.

3-5 years of experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Top Secret Personnel clearance are mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirement

Skills:

• Experience in the application and techniques for supporting logistical planning and control;
• Experience in organizing material and completing writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, and terminology;
• Experience in the development of logistics management planning for large and small organizations;
• Demonstrated capability in the analysis of program logistical needs, development of short and long-range logistic plans, budget analysis, and database development for logistical use;
• Experience with and knowledge of military logistical management procedures and property accountability systems. .

Mandatory Requirements:

• 3-5 Years of DPAS experience is a must
• Top Secret Clearance
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following academic fields: Business Administration, Management Science or a related field; or 8 years of cumulative experience in lieu of Degree.
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Specialist
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management · Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
