We are a Private Wealth Advisory Practice affiliated with Ameriprise Financial seeking a dedicated, fully licensed Paraplanner to join our team. This role involves collaborating closely with financial advisors to support all aspects of the financial planning process.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Product Solutions (60%)
Prepare preliminary financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for review by advisors and use in client meetings.
Create visual aids such as charts and graphs to facilitate client discussions and implementation meetings.
Develop portfolio recommendations tailored to client risk tolerance and time horizon, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Client Care & Business Management (40%)
Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the financial planning process, providing information and addressing inquiries where appropriate.
Update and review client information for periodic review meetings; attend client meetings as needed.
Manage and resolve client service issues promptly and effectively.
Support other practice management tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned by advisors.
Key Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Clear and effective communication abilities with clients, advisors, and team members.
Efficient time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
Commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements and practice standards set by Ameriprise Financial.
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to ongoing learning and development.
Education And Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Relevant Experience.
Required licenses: Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident, and health insurance.
Compensation And Benefits
Competitive salary range of $65,000-$70,000 annually, based on experience.
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Eligibility to participate in 401k after six months of employment.
Paid time off (PTO) and designated holidays.
