Junior Art Director

  • Desire to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent typography skills& Creative Suite pro
  • Must be able to see a project from start to finish … meaning from name to logo design, package design to product display pages, and marketing emails and banners and potential social activations.
  • Good attitude and ready to work hard in a super-fast-paced but friendly environment.
  • Good sense of humor who loves kids a major plus.
  • Solid social platform concepting experience also a major plus.

General Responsibilities:

The Junior Art Director is responsible for contributing ideas, designing artwork and upholding the brand standards of Evenflo and its partner brands at the direction of the Creative Director.

  • Ensure brand design consistency across projects according to our brand style guidelines.
  • Design campaigns, participate in brainstorming, conceptualizing and creating visual content aligned with the Executive Team’s vision.
  • Create exemplary, intuitive visual design solutions across all internal brand campaigns including presentations, packaging, POP, posters, banners, site, emails, illustrations/graphics and logos.
  • Work closely with the team project manager to meet deadlines for various deliverables across the organization.
  • Support in building and utilizing templates to create efficiencies and consistency across designs
  • Ability to drive color correction hi-res images and patterns, editing logos, and adjusting environments/backgrounds
  • Update, record, organize and maintain a shared library of icons, logos, photos and other assets
  • Prepare and develop materials for line reviews and industry trade shows (presentation boards, support literature, 2D/3D product mockups, signage)
  • Create with relentlessly high standards when it comes to design and innovation
  • Develop designs in an extremely fast-paced environment without compromising quality

Required Technical Competencies

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Works well within the context of a larger team of Brand Marketing, Product Marketing Managers and other teams
  • Able to multi-task and reorder priorities when necessary
  • Team player and professional approach to creative and production
  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Mac Systems with Mac OSX
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, XD, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office
