Junior Analyst

Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility required

Location: FBI Headquarters, Washington, DC. This position allows for 40% telework

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to support our federal law enforcement client’s Financial Processing Services Section (FPSS). You will be responsible for executing test plans and identifying bugs in custom financial software products that support government travel. You will work with the end customer and development team to ensure the quality and functionality of the system. This role is especially well-suited to someone who is eager to learn, grow into a new role, and work directly with customers.

Required Qualifications

• Highly curious and eager to learn new processes, technology, and customer challenges.
• Experience supporting the deployment of new software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on effectively communicating detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking skills, and initiative. Ability to understand how the software and travel submission process will convert to financial numbers for the government.
• Ability to adjust and adapt to meet the mission and customer needs.
• Experience working in collaborative sessions, while able to work independently after being provided guidance.
• Ability to provide ad hoc management consulting reports (e.g. – agendas, minutes, presentations, facilitation, training material development, etc.)
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of relevant experience. Education requirement may be waived if you have five (5) or more years of experience.
• Familiarity with SharePoint content management.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI functionality.
  
  
  

Travel: There may be opportunities to support operations through travel, but none is required
