Jr. Staff Accountant

Job Description

Now hiring for a Jr taff Accountant in Mount Joy, PA - Direct Hire Opportunity! Fully in office with hours of 8-4 or 4:30 (30 minutes for lunch)

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the General Ledger accounts, financial reporting, month-end close, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries
• Montly bank reconciliations
• Fixed assets - monitor and track
• Investigate reporting discrepancies
• Oversee sales & use tax filings and payments
• SOX compliance
• Ad hoc reporting
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and or Finance preferred
• 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
