INCATech is searching for a Jr. QA Analyst/Tester to perform various testing functions in support of the Department of State. This full-time position will be available as a hybrid position with 2 days a week on-site in Reston, VA. The Jr. QA Analyst/Tester will develop both manual and automated test scripts and test documentation for a large public facing website and collaborate with the design and development teams.
Work Location: HYBRID 2 days a week in RESTON, VA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create, document, and implement manual and automated test plans
Execute tests, analyze results, and report on documented issues
Accessibility testing using section 508 and WCAG standards
Track QA work in Jira
Communicate effectively with a cross-functional software development team
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
Related Experience:
Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to acquire one
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Previous experience as a QA Analyst/Tester (1-2 years)
Strong English language skills
Strong critical thinking skills
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team
Basic understanding of Mobile Responsiveness testing
Ability to work well independently as well as follow detailed instructions for completing testing assignments
Preferred:
DHS Trusted Tester certification
Experience with automation testing and cross browser testing tools (Selenium, Katalon)
Familiarity with HTML and CSS validation, device testing, and accessibility tools (BitBar, ANDI, CCA, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, W3C CSS Validation, etc.)
Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG 2.0 standards
