Location: Santa Clara, CA - 95054-2807

Duration: 9 Months

Shift Timings: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Analytical Chemist to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative analytical chemistry laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and extensive experience in analytical chemistry, with expertise in various analytical instruments and techniques. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative drug-device combination products and contribute to method development and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and optimize analytical test methods for drug-device combination products.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scientists in method development and validation processes.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments including HPLC, LCMS, GC, and GCMS.
• Process and interpret chromatographic and spectroscopic data for chemical structure characterization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to documentation for method validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support in vitro drug release test method R&D.
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with 7+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or PhD in Chemistry or equivalent with 1+ years of experience.
• Working knowledge of analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, GC/MS, TLC, IR, UV/vis, NMR, and AA.
• Strong lab skills and familiarity with GMP and GLP standards.
• Experience with documentation, including publications or presentations to scientific organizations, is preferred
