Responsibilities
This role will focus on performing fundamental investment research and analysis and assisting with the overall management of the firm’s gaming, leisure, lodging and restaurants (“GLLR”) vertical. Working at times independently as well as with other members of the investment team, the individual in this role will be expected to conduct company-specific due diligence, analyze industry research, prepare and present investment recommendations to the Chief Investment Officer, monitor existing positions and provide timely updates to changes in investment theses.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in a finance, economics or mathematics discipline;
3-5 years of work experience in complex finance roles (such as investment banking or equity research);
Strong quantitative and modeling skills honed in previous professional roles;
Acute attention to detail;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively.
Compensation Range
$150,000-$185,000 annual base salary plus eligibility for discretionary bonus
