Responsibilities

You will lead and manage the development of educational training modules, job aids, facilitator guides, and process flow maps. Collaborating with Business Leaders and Subject Matter Experts, you'll create engaging and effective training programs for various topics, business process flows, and compliance education. Your goal is to design and implement learning requirements and opportunities that align with business unit objectives. You will manage and/or facilitate internal learning opportunities, create learning courses and materials using instructional design methodology, and review learning programs to ensure all materials are current, accurate, and relevant. Additionally, you will maintain a working knowledge of operational policies and procedures and serve as a resource for performance support and learning projects.

Required Skills/Attributes

Assess, plan, design, develop, and implement professional development training curriculum and materials for end-users.

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Articulate RISE, Vyond, Descript, Canva, Clip Champ, and Vimeo is preferred.

Apply advanced project management skills and methodologies to the instructional design process, including assessment, job analysis, course design, and development.

Create high-quality, visually engaging, and easy-to-understand training materials.

Design content for delivery in online and live environments and complete instructional design documentation to ensure quality and consistency.

Review existing courses for quality, currency, and consistency and collaborate with business leaders to enhance curriculum design as needed.

Execute the training design and floor readiness process to ensure training (content, delivery, and measurements) is accurate and relevant to the learner.

Develop content that influences, persuades, and directs learning, enabling employees to be successful in their work environment.

Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective questioning and feedback skills.

Good To Have Skills/Attributes

Utilize the A.D.D.I.E. instructional design process, or similar methodologies, to create new instructor-led, virtual, or web-based training curriculum.

Work with business subject matter experts to develop contextually rich, engaging, and objective-driven courses and learning experiences that focus on applicable workplace skills.

Create and update departmental documents including forms, guides, job aids, training policies, and guidelines.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).

Thorough knowledge of adult learning theories.
