Build, contribute, and support the creation and organization of clear, concise, quality system help documentation, user guides and a training curriculum by providing expertise on content, format, editing, and organization.

Lead and participate in analysis sessions to elicit requirements for a large e-learning/training project. Elicit and translate high level business needs into specific and concise processes for demonstration and buy in.

Produce and update existing user help and training content based on instruction from subject-matter experts (SMEs), system design/functionality, user functional requirements, and standard operating procedure documentation.

This role will work under the Information Technology team, alongside various divisions within the organization and in conjunction with expert users, developers, project managers, SMEs to lead an effort to design, develop, and execute a training plan and platform for a very large COTS application. This position will require some technical creativity and priority management skills to accomplish a variety of needs associated with this project.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, computer science, business administration or another related discipline preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years working as a business analysis, experience producing business requirements documents (BRDs), structured SOPs, wikis, process modeling/workflows, test scripts, work product validations, technical writing, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft CRM, Visio, and SharePoint preferred.
  • Proven ability to self-manage and complete project deliverables. Be self-organized and track completion of assigned tasks including successful delivery of assigned project milestones.
  • Review and finalize extensive functional and technical documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding writing, organizational, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Prepare and present training content to clients as needed.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical staff to manage a team’s deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of e-learning techniques helpful.
