Title : Policy & standards writer and Controls Designer

Location : Quincy , MA (4 days onsite -- one day remote ) -- NEED LOCALS ONLY

Duration : 6-12 months

NOTE : CANDIDATE HAVE TO USE THEIR OWN LAPTOP -- CLIENT DOESNT PROVIDE THE LAPTOP

Job Description/Requirements:/ Must haves

Policy, standards and procedure writer (7+ years)

Technical Writer ( 10+ years)

Strong knowledge of Controls Design ( 7+ years)

Experience in Financial Industry ( 7+ years)

Technical background of architecture and s/w development ( 3+ years)

Excellent communications ( verbal, written) skills

Fire in the belly, go getter, self-starter

Persistent

  • Controls and Compliance and IT audit background (10 years)
  • Familiar with policies applicable to s/w development in a financial industry (3-5 years)
  • What are the top 3 “nice to have” that would separate a successful candidate from their competition?
  • Technical background of architecture and s/w development ( 3+ years)
  • Having been a technical writer background
  • Is this role supporting a specific project or initiative, which project or initiative is this role supporting?
  • Supporting a few governance projects including regulatory projects
  • What will the interview process look like (phone screen, face to face, meet with team, how many rounds, etc)? Is there a test in the interview the candidate should be prepared for?
  • 1st screening will be virtual ( zoom etc.)
  • 2nd screening will be in person
  • 3rd may be senior management screening
  • No test but sample writing will be required
