REQUIREMENTS: (2) years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits administration, compensation, and compliance

PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Job Overview:

As a Human Resources Generalist specializing in benefits, compensation, and compliance, you will play a crucial role in managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws, and overseeing compensation practices. You will collaborate with various departments to support a positive employee experience while safeguarding the company's adherence to legal requirements.


Duties & Responsibilities :

  1. Benefits Administration and Compliance Management
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
  • Facilitate benefits enrollment processes, educating employees on available options and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and eligibility.
  • Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices align with legal requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies, particularly those related to benefits and compliance.
  • Conduct sessions for employees and managers on benefits programs, compliance requirements, and HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records related to benefits administration and compliance efforts.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for audits or regulatory purposes.
  • Collaborate with external benefits providers, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and external vendors for benefits-related matters.


  1. Compensation Management
  • Administer and maintain compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure the organization's compensation practices remain competitive.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement salary adjustment and incentive plans.
  • Other HR duties, as needed


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks without guidance
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Highly computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite products and related business and communication tools
