About the Role:
We are searching a seasoned HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team in New York. Reporting to the VP of HR, this strategic yet hands-on role will partner with business leaders to drive HR initiatives that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals.
Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
Talent Management: Lead initiatives in talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession planning to ensure we attract and retain top talent.
Organizational Development: Identify and implement organizational development initiatives that enhance workforce capabilities, culture, and engagement.
Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay updated on labor laws and ensure company policies reflect current legislation.
Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, providing guidance to managers on setting goals, giving feedback, and managing performance.
HR Metrics: Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Employee Engagement: Develop and execute programs to foster a positive work environment and culture that aligns with our clients’ values and mission.
Change Management: Support the organization through change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and minimizing disruption to the business.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in an HRBP role or similar capacity, preferably in a technology or financial services environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in both strategic HR planning and hands-on execution.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and US labor laws.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
