Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Assistant, your duties will include:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department.
- Reporting Tools and HRIS: Keep abreast of the reporting tools and functionalities within all performance/HRIS systems.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Referral of Complex Questions: Refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- File Integrity and Confidentiality: Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- File Audits: Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- New Hire Orientation: Assist with the new hire orientation process.
- Special Event Assistance: Assist with the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Scheduling: Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the HR manager.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Organizational and Communication Skills: Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- Approachability and Customer Service: Approachable with exceptional customer service skills, both internally and externally.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively.
- Trustworthiness: Must demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Software: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Commute/Relocation: Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
