Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process benefits related to death and disability.
  • Handle non-contractual member benefit payments.
  • Participate in daily, monthly, annual, and special check transmissions, processing, reconciliations, and check run approvals.
  • Maintain and update the Disbursements Group within the CRM system.
  • Annual Death Benefit Payment Reconciliation
  • Respond to annual audit.
  • Process payment instructions, ledger adjustments, tax form corrections, and manage stop and reissues/return to trust with State Street.

Qualifications/Position Requirements:

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of staff and member information.
  • Experience in or with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
