Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Hospice Nurse located in Reston, VA, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Hospice Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and palliative care services to patients in their homes or senior communities. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, administering medications, monitoring patients' conditions, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
Medicine and Nursing skills
Palliative Care and Home Care experience
Direct Patient Care skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Current RN license
Experience in hospice care is preferred
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
