This resource needs to have strong experience managing Cutover projects. Ideal Candidate will be an Epic Project Manager w/ experience managing a cutover project within an established Epic environment for an ERP migration (Workday). This is a large multi-site hospital. Very complex and environment.


Important:

  • Although local candidates would be great, the candidate can start this project remotely – BUT HAS TO BE ONSITE just before or during Go Live. This will be End of December / 1st week of January
  • Hours: 40 hours a week up until Go-Live weeks. End of December and early January will be 50+ hour weeks.
  • Requirements for Onsite: Covid Vaccinations (original 2), flu shot, TB test.


Must have:

  • Healthcare Project Manager
  • Cutover Project Management
  • Workday/ERP with Integration to Epic.


Plus:

  • Experience being part of an ERP migration for large hospital chain
  • Optime & HIM


Responsibilities:

  • Epic Workday Implementation Project Management and Support.
  • This role will specifically support the cutover planning and execution for Epic related impacts from the transition to PeopleSoft to Workday.
  • Will work in collaboration with current Sr. Project Manager for Epic/Workday project and the Business Excellence Workday project team.
  • Design, develop and maintain project plans that conform to program standard methodology, including the definition of deliverables and milestones.
  • Monitor and control project during planning, execution, and project closure, including status reporting to project leadership, tracking risks and issues, and escalating as needed, conducting project lessons learned and process improvement analysis.
  • Understand project dependencies and work to maintain the project time lines and goals.
  • Escalate and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide on-going engagement status reports to management, user groups, project steering committee and executive leadership.
  • Provide project-specific analysis and guidance to project team members that support timely and quality results. Monitor quality of work performed by team members throughout the project.
  • Establish and create a positive team environment through informal leadership and mentoring.
  • Provide quality customer service and serve as an exemplary representative of Digital. On-going communication, feedback and follow-through with customers and executive leadership is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Must be realistic, neither overstated nor understated, and related to the essential functions of the job.).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years’ experience in operations and project management, preferably within a healthcare environment, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP or other PM certification preferred.
  • Experience leading Epic implementation cutover processes.
  • Workday implementation experience a plus.
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.

  • Strong PC / Microsoft skills required (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio).
