Job Overview:The Transition Services Office (TSO) Program Manager will oversee the planning and execution of major company initiatives to deliver long-term value to T-Mobile, including integration, separation, and divestiture programs. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with expertise in wireless telecommunications and a proven track record in managing complex programs at the enterprise level. The TSO Program Manager will enhance our competitive position by working closely with functional and cross-functional teams across the enterprise to monitor, support, and ensure the successful delivery of integration and/or separation initiatives in line with T-Mobile’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration and Separation Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement processes and tools to enable operational due diligence activities, including any necessary data rooms, parlor rooms, and/or clean rooms.
  • Define, implement, and lead enterprise-wide activities to facilitate assessment, creation, and timelines for integration and/or separation initiatives
  • Define, implement, and lead close transition activities, including hour by hour plans, command centers, etc.


Program Management & Governance:

  • Design, communicate, and implement governance activities and deliverables to monitor progress, control integration and/or separation processes, and report on status
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the creation of detailed integration and/or separation project plans, including identification of timelines, dependencies, and risks
  • Monitor program progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion
  • Prepare and present program status reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues associated with integration and separation initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Ensure timely resolution of initiative issues to minimize impact on program timelines and objectives
  • Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-ins.


Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the TSO and internal/external stakeholders for integration and/or separation initiatives, ensuring clear communication and coordination among stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among functional teams, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective decision-making and conflict resolution
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders


Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and motivate the functional and cross-functional teams, providing guidance, support, and assist with clearing blockers to their progress
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability across the program


Transition Management:

  • Manage the stand-up and execution of Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) and implement governance processes to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions
  • Create, deliver, and ensure collection against invoices for provided Transition Services
  • Receive and validate invoices for Transition Services received
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track initiatives which enable timely and successful TSA exits


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years related work experience
  • Two years of account management experience
  • Two years of experience working on merger integration and/or divestiture activities
  • Two years of experience in establishing and executing transition plans and objectives
  • Five years analytical or operational business experience
  • Strong understanding of wireless telecommunications technologies and operations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or combination of equivalent experience and education (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Washington Pay Range : $143,300.00 - $193,900.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
