Overview
Burlington has added a new *REMOTE
role for a Graphic Planner to support our significant growth and transformation. In this role, you would be responsible for the production of Graphic Planning documents to support Burlington’s New Store, Remodels and Capex projects as assigned. You will be required to complete all documentation, production, communication and quality control on all assigned projects. In this role, you will partner with internal and external teams to ensure assigned projects are successfully executed as planned. We’re looking for someone who will understand and implement Graphic Planning processes to maximize department productivity and individual contribution.
A day in the life:
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
Develop and produce In- store Graphics plans, ceiling graphic plans, and stores interior elevations for all types of stores and projects utilizing AutoCAD and X-Ref software. Occasional 3D rendering/photoshop could be needed.
Make scope of work decisions for each project based on location specific requirements and budget guidelines. Partner with supervisor for non-prototypical situations.
Understand all planning processes & standards. Stay up to date on the latest Prototype, Innovation & Merchandising initiatives and ensure all documents are in compliance.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION
Oversee each project from inception to completion; Maintain quality control and communication through all phases of the project. Trouble-shoot & respond swiftly to field installation issues and manage change orders as needed. Manage multiple projects at once & prioritize workload effectively
Produce graphic take-off and order forms for procurement purposes utilizing MS Office and Teams.
Log & maintain store attributes for each project via Lucernex & database files in order to share and preserve company records
Develop and maintain partnerships, communication and coordination with Burlington's cross-functional departments and outside vendors.
Communicate changes that may affect production schedules.
You’ll come with:
A 4 year degree in related field or equivalent experience
1-2 years Retail Design Experience
Experience using Auto CAD & X-Ref is required
Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience using SketchUp and Bluebeam strongly preferred
