Job Description: We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs across various mediums to promote our festival and engage our audience. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to ensure our branding and messaging are effectively communicated.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative concepts and design assets for promotional materials including posters, flyers, banners, social media graphics, advertisements, merchandise, and more.
Work closely with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audience, and messaging requirements.
Translate marketing goals into visually appealing and cohesive designs that align with our festival's brand identity.
Maintain consistency in design across all platforms and mediums.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
Collaborate with printers and other vendors to ensure the quality and accuracy of printed materials.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a similar role or within the entertainment/events industry.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
Strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, design skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of printing processes and specifications.
2+ years experience in the Graphic Design field
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field
