Our design team is looking for its newest member to help on a variety of interesting projects ranging from web & email layout all the way to video editing and production. If you're ready to put your design chops to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, then we're ready for you!


As a Graphic Designer at Access Marketing, we ask you to tell and enhance marketing stories through visual design across various mediums including print, PDF documents, presentations, web pages, landing pages, emails, ads, social posts, etc., and know why each medium is different. You'll create assets from supplied copy using client brand guides or reference material, taking into account the medium and campaign use cases. All along the way, you'll need to collaborate with copywriters and account managers to execute production work with quality at volume. In addition, all our design team members are expected to contribute to the development of tools like templates, automated processes, design libraries, etc. to reduce effort per output.


Core Requirements

  • Ability to produce high quality design deliverables at a fast pace based on creative briefs
  • Ability to contribute and/or create blank-page designs based on input gathered from brainstorming sessions & meetings
  • Highly developed knowledge and skill with tools in the Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign plus layout, file structure, art boards and layer management
  • Demonstrable understanding of how typography, color, shape and layout contribute to elegant design and communication
  • "How can I be helpful?" team-first attitude. Will double-check results because they are somewhat risk-averse
  • Can take direction and feedback from creative directors & others with impartiality, but can still defend their design decisions
  • Desire to take on new methods and platforms, learning the design & layout side of applications such as Act-On, HubSpot, Pardot and more
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring typography and design treatments are aligned across a large variety of deliverables and templates
  • Online portfolio showcasing a variety of professional design work


Nice to Haves

  • Video skills can help put you at higher end of pay scale. (planning, direction, capture, production/editing, animation, etc.)
  • Technical chops is a bonus e.g. light HTML, CSS, WYSIWYG editors in web, email, etc.
  • Bootstrap / knowledge of Marketing platforms such as Act-On, HubSpot, Pardot etc.


Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in graphic design in marketing/agency preferred
  • 1 year Experience with B2B design and/or digital design such as email, marketing platforms
  • 2- or 4-year degree in Graphic Design or similar field preferred, although your work and commitment to learning is most important
