Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage daily operations of the satellites and the supporting TT&C ground network.
Respond to and troubleshoot alarms related to satellite and network operations.
Implement command sequences for normal and emergency satellite operations.
Support daily payload operations of satellites.
Assist in the analysis of spacecraft anomalies, compiling data to support anomaly reports.
Oversee the satellite ground station network and assist with pass activities.
Conduct routine checks on spacecraft performance, compile reports, and contribute to preliminary analysis.
Document operations procedures, create shift logs, and assist with shift briefings.
Participate in ongoing training sessions and meetings related to satellite operations.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field (e.g., Remote Sensing, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including holidays, weekends, and night shifts.
Eligibility to obtain security clearance.
Desired:
Prior experience in satellite operations.
Proficiency in scripting or Python programming.
Familiarity with Linux OS and commercial cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
