Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:

Gentran and Comp experience will be needed, as some development may be needed and at the very least review, overview, and guidance.

  • GENTRAN mainframe translator experience
  • Experience with EDI Healthcare related HL (hierarchical level) transaction sets
  • EDI application and transaction set analysis, definition, mapping, and compliance
  • GENTRAN user exits (COBOL development)
  • Experience in all aspects of testing from development to implementation (EDI)
  • Experience utilizing documentation tool for the creation and publication of EDI Implementation Guides
  • Support of Power Suite/Core Suite for Workers’ Compensation files through GENTRAN, to EDI format development, modification, and testing

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $80.00 to $120.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
