Location: Manassas. VA
Salary: $80K - $110K
Company Overview: Join a leading provider of portable restroom solutions, serving Greater Washington, DC. We specialize in delivering clean, reliable, and convenient portable restroom facilities for various events, construction sites, and outdoor venues.
Position Overview: Seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our portable restrooms company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing operations, truck routes, drivers, and overall business functions. The GM will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing truck routes for efficient service delivery, managing a team of drivers and staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company objectives. Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and route optimization. Manage a team of drivers and operations staff, providing leadership and guidance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as necessary. Implement systems for inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners. Prepare and present reports on operational performance, financial results, and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets and optimize profitability. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in a managerial role within the portable restrooms industry or related field. Strong understanding of truck routing, logistics, and fleet management principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial analysis, including P&L management and budgeting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards. Proficient computer skills, including experience with route optimization software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required). Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
