Freelance Strategy Director, Pharma

We have an immediate, freelance opening for a Marketing Strategist with healthcare and/or pharmaceutical marketing experience at an advertising agency. The role will be full-time for about 2mo (Jul-Aug).

Job Description

We are looking for a data-driven Integrated Marketing Strategist who can support the team for a peak period of work through Q3. We are looking for someone who comes with a breadth of experience who can operate independently to develop strategies and implementation plans for content evaluation and audit exercises, patient journey development and marketing ecosystem optimizations. Must also have experience in marketing planning, data analysis, and content creation to craft compelling customer experiences across touchpoints.

You will have a track record for developing, managing, and reporting on marketing campaigns and offering marketing solutions to stakeholders across solutions/products to meet revenue goals. In addition, you will exhibit a deep understanding of markets and customers to lead go-to-market activity for a business unit solution area and demonstrate excellent leadership and project management skills.

Desire Expertise: Participate in defining the market opportunity for a business area through a comprehensive understanding of business goals, solution portfolios, roadmaps, and pricing models. With specific focus in:

  • Customer Journey Segmentation – In collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, utilize proprietary and third-party research to refine target personas, buyer needs, and purchasing decision processes
  • Brand Strategy and Messaging- Deep experience in the evolution of existing brand messages to strengthen and evolve against new strategic opportunities
  • Content and Marketing Ecosystem Audit- Ability to dig into the details and content of existing marketing pieces to audit content and map streamlined and optimized approaches to segmented journeys
  • CRM – Provide expertise in building compelling, motivating and measurable CRM journeys that map to segment specific needs, barriers and strategies. Ability to collaborate with the technical team to implement and QA
  • Marketing Analytics – Lead the establishment of comprehensive marketing metrics and actively evaluate post-activity outcomes to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, leveraging data for strategic decision-making

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of strategic marketing and/or integrated marketing management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategy across multiple channels
  • Proven track record of leveraging customer, market, and competitive insights to inform marketing decisions
  • Clear understanding of the modern pharmaceutical marketing landscape, including digital marketing, demand generation, personalization, sales enablement/effectiveness, attribution reporting, and campaign management
  • Strong writing skills for marketing materials and experience in annual planning documents and other marketing deliverables
  • Successful track record of cross-functional collaboration with teams, contributors, and stakeholders across various seniority levels
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and business problem-solving skills
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to define and measure metrics to assess the impact of marketing efforts
  • Ability to rapidly prioritize and respond to changing business needs and external market dynamics
  • Ability to successfully operate in a hybrid work environment with in-office expectations at our FiDi location at least two days per week

The position offers competitive pay with benefits based on experience and qualifications:

Salary Range: $100-120/hr, for 2 month assignment

The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at Coefficient Health. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational needs.
