Responsibilities for the Fixed Equipment Engineer include:
- Working for continuous improvement in asset management
- Acting as technical resource for all mechanical integrity questions
- Developing maintenance standards and procedures
- Reviewing, modifying, and approving all repair plans for fixed equipment and piping
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 12 years plant maintenance experience
- Proven experience with inspection procedures, maintenance/reliability and industry best practices within a chemical or heavy manufacturing environment
- Thorough understanding of ASME Section VIII, API 570, 650, 653 industry codes
- Knowledgeable in root cause analysis, failure mode and effects, and asset criticality assessment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
