Finance and Operations Manager

Cloudbreak Compliance Group, a leading compliance consulting firm for investment advisers, is seeking to add a full-time Finance and Operations Manager to its team.  The person will be tasked with managing and overseeing all financial and operational duties within the company and will report directly to Cloudbreak’s President.  As Cloudbreak continues to grow, the person will play a crucial role in guiding the company towards achieving its financial and operational objectives and promoting ongoing enhancement.  The person will be expected to work primarily from Cloudbreak’s office in White Plains, New York at least three days per week.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement Cloudbreak’s financial strategy and oversee finance, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, expense tracking and billing
• Lead financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to management to support decision-making and drive business performance
• Oversee day-to-day operations to drive operational efficiency and scalability 
• Manage staffing and scheduling for client engagements
• Oversee IT and cybersecurity initiatives, including managing the relationship with Cloudbreak’s IT vendor 
• Liaise with professional employer organization and support other HR matters
• Oversee other back office initiatives, including with respect to office space, insurance and key vendor management
• Assist with proposals and contracts, including maintaining pricing guides, tracking proposals and coordinating legal review of contracts (where needed)
• Collaborate with others on administrative matters

Skill and Experience

• Must have a Bachelors’ degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field
• Must have at least five to seven years of finance experience
• Must have prior experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Prior experience at a professional services firm is preferred
• Prior operational experience is plus, including with respect to information technology and cybersecurity, human resources and vendor management
