Finance and Controlling Manager North America

Duties & Responsibilities for Artemide subsidiaries in North America

• Supervising Accounting, Controlling and Treasury Functions, also for the canadian subsidiaries (supporting the local accountant)
• Managing Accounting closures and monthly journal entries
• Managing Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Business reports and Statutory reports to HQs
• Sales reports and commission calculation
• Control and validation of inventory
• Control of accounts receivables
• Managing the Annual Report (supporting the External Accounting Firm) and the year end audit with outside firm
• Ensuring administrative management of Income Taxes (Federal/State/City Tax return supporting the External Accounting Firm), Sales Tax and 401k Plan Administration
• Managing Annual Budget and Business Plan preparation and performing analysis on the business to company management
• Managing cash flow (outstanding accounts, debits, financing) and relations with banks
• Check signing and bank payments
• Maintaining Corporate Records with Lawyers
• Ensuring administrative management of insurance and litigation
• Managing HR Process

Educational background & previous experiences

• 5+ years of Finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or other related field required
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools and Excel and MS Office
• Strong problem solving and results orientation
• Excellent analytical, reporting, communication and organizational skills
• A good knowledge of Italian language is mandatory
