Job Summary: The Federal Work Study Football Program Assistant at Wheeling University provides essential support to the football coaching staff and team operations. This position offers a unique opportunity for students passionate about football to gain valuable experience within a collegiate athletics program. Under the guidance of the coaching staff, the Program Assistant assists with various administrative, operational, and logistical tasks necessary for the successful functioning of the football program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist coaches and staff with day-to-day operations of the football program.
• Aid in coordinating team events, practices, and games, including setup and breakdown of equipment and facilities.
• Help manage and maintain football equipment inventory.
• Assist in video recording and analysis of practices and games using designated software.
• Support recruitment efforts by helping with campus tours, visits, and correspondence with prospective student-athletes.
• Provide administrative support such as organizing files, preparing documents, and scheduling meetings.
• Assist in fundraising activities and events to support the football program.
• Uphold and promote NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at Wheeling University and eligible for the Federal Work Study Program.
