Facilities Maintenance Technician - Part Time

This is a part time position working 20-25 hours per week.

In this role, you will…

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and take necessary steps to correct them.
• Repair furniture and other equipment as necessary.
• Assist with the moving and relocation of office furniture (may require heavy lifting).
• Complete weather related duties (snow and ice removal etc.).
• Assist in dock deliveries and stock all supplies to the basement and proper storage areas.
• Run company errands as directed (HVAC parts, electrical, plumbing etc.).
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.
  
  
  

We are looking for candidates with…

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
• Experience performing routine maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
