Job Description: ACT1 Federal is seeking a Logistics and Sustainment Analyst to help the F 35 Joint Program Office (in Arlington, VA) in planning and executing F-35 Security Cooperation and Foreign Military Sales Programs. As a Logistics and Sustainment Analyst supporting the F-35 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Business Operations Team office you will help the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) fulfill its mission developing, testing, producing, fielding, and sustaining dominant 5th generation fighter capabilities for the United States military services and our allies around the world.
Responsibilities:
F-35 Operational Site Activation
Collaborate with F-35 FMS Program Managers and Contract Specialists to ensure precise budget forecasting and cost control for FMS projects
Develop and update cost estimates, enhancing budget management and resource allocation
Identify areas for further cost optimization and suggest improvements for future cost estimation processes to reduce the costs of F-35 Site Activations
Logistics Coordination
Organize meetings between FMS Foreign Liaison Officer Customers and the Fleet Readiness & Sustainment Organization
Facilitate collaboration with the Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation (AFSAC) agency to foster international partnerships and enhance national security
Schedule and coordinate visits, ensuring seamless logistics for Foreign Liaison Officers
Senior Leader Collaboration
Facilitate meetings between the F-35 Program Executive Officer and Foreign Liaison Officers in their respective countries
Enhance collaboration, improve communication, and strengthen partnerships with international counterparts
Business Operations Team Coordination
Maintain, coordinate, and update the FMS Business Operations Meeting Groups and Participation Working Groups Calendar
Streamline operations, enhance coordination, and ensure alignment and informed participation among stakeholders
Requirements
BA/BS or MA/MS Degree
An additional four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. An Associate's Degree plus two (2) additional years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR
Minimum of six (6) years of combined experience from several of the following areas:
Military aviation operations or logistics fields
Weapons Systems acquisition, sustainment, and financial management
Security Cooperation and Foreign Military Sales Programs
Policy analysis and development
Possess knowledge of military aviation life cycle logistics infrastructure and processes
Experience in management functions, processes, and analytical methods/techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information
Experience in developing, managing, and monitoring program plans
Skilled in Microsoft Office Program Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project)
