Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Our client is a brokerage firm. They seek an EVP of Finance and Operations to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CEO and management on the operations of a proprietary trading firm
  • Laisie with management to identify areas for process improvement and recommend change
  • Carry out P & S and margin calculations to ensure data reconciliation
  • Prepare financials and maintain books and records for the Broker-Dealer in compliance with GAAP
  • Provide support for financial information analyses, reports, and recommendations
  • Ensure accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and make recommendations for processes and controls
  • Build relationships with key external stakeholders relevant to the Broker-Dealer
  • Provide value-added and strategic insight into various organizational areas within the Firm
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance for all required federal, state, and local payroll and property

Requirements

  • 10+ years of finance and operations experience
  • Advanced knowledge of all things broker/dealer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Able to adjust to changing priorities and meet deadlines
