ERP Project Manager (PeopleSoft)

ERP Project Manager (PeopleSoft) - Contract

Must align w/ PST Hours.

We are actively seeking a senior PeopleSoft Project Manager with extensive experience managing critical and complex projects. The role requires alignment with PST hours and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft modules, including WFA, Benefits, GL, Payroll, or Absence Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans
  • Drive projects to completion
  • Hold resources and task owners accountable
  • Report to senior executive leadership
  • Organize and run project team meetings/Sprints
  • Manage projects from start or mid-way through
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate clearly with all levels of stakeholders

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years as an overall Project Manager

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts
  • Ability to assess and design services to meet IT needs
  • Understanding of technology-related initiatives and their organizational impact
  • Capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan contingencies
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Effective writing and communication skills
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Competency in project management methods and techniques
  • Skill in tracking effort and project progress
  • Strong conceptual and planning skills
  • Expert organizational and project management skills
  • Understanding of cost impact, project tracking tools, and metrics
  • Ability to relate programs to business strategies and initiatives
  • Integrate critical information across disciplines
  • Communicate effectively with executive-level management
  • Analyze complex projects with broad institutional impact
  • Manage project progress within time and budget constraints
  • Collaborative approach to achieve significant results

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced project management techniques for internal and external constituencies
  • Lead analyses to determine project approaches, data sources, methods, and evaluation criteria
  • Manage project management processes for broad-scope products and services
  • Direct and analyze project proposals and reports
  • Oversee large projects from initiation to delivery, including system integration and risk management
  • Organize interdepartmental or multi-institutional activities to complete projects on schedule and within budget

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years’ experience as a lead Project Manager managing projects directly from end to end
  • Experience managing SDLC related projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training
  • Project Management Professional certification
  • PeopleSoft project management experience
  • Experience managing projects in the higher education domain
