Base pay range

$139,395.00/yr - $191,900.00/yr

Position Description

You will serve as a ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the Avionics Engineering Department, Core Avionics Engineering Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will lead a team of 1 or more SMEs working Systems Application Architecture (SAA) or Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS) efforts.
  • You will represent the Navy as a SME in Industry Special committees to develop and finalize SAA Minimal Operational Performance Standard (MOPS).
  • You will serve as official NAWCAD Technical Authority for Sense and Avoid, ACASxu Systems, and Due Regard Operations.
  • You will represent Avionics Technical Authority for SAA and ACAS.
  • You will provide technical design, development, integration, qualification, production, and in service support of avionics systems. (e.g. SAA Radar, TCAS Systems, IFF, Systems.
  • You will prepare avionics system specifications, statements of work, Contractor Data Deliverable Lists, Engineering Change Proposals, Technical Directives, and other documentation technically required to execute duties.
  • You will liaisons with other aviation technical communities for in-service technical problems.
