Successful candidates care about climate change, respect science, and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, are mechanically skilled, are skilled using shop tools and reading blueprints, make accurate measurements, and perform careful and quality work on time and on budget. They are good team members, safety conscious, great problem solvers, have good oral and written communications skills, and can work well independently as well. They are curious and interested in learning new skills. Those who perform well can advance to other roles in the company. When possible, we prefer to promote from within. Electrical wiring and welding experience are a big plus.
Job duties include:
Electrical Technician Responsibilities:
Assemble, install, and test electrical components of our Mobile Nanogrids
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform repairs
Assist with the development and implementation of electrical testing procedures
Ensure adherence to all electrical safety codes and standards
Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work performed
Collaborate effectively with other technicians and engineers
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or related field
Strong understanding of electrical theory, principles, and practices
Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Maintain a clean and neat work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
Additional Skills Desired:
Ability to lift moderate weight (up to 40 lbs)
Ability to drive a forklift

Background check required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Covid 19 Vaccination required (we offer paid time to get one within 5 days of hire).
Part-time schedule available as well.
