The Ecommerce Business Leader is responsible for managing all aspects of our B2B Ecommerce channel shift, focusing on customer-facing operations and project management. This role involves developing and executing strategies to facilitate the transition to Ecommerce, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and optimizing operational processes. The Director will collaborate with various teams across the organization, including Operations, Customer Service, IT, and Sales, to drive the successful adoption and growth of our Ecommerce platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for the operational shift to Ecommerce, ensuring a smooth transition for customers and internal teams.
Lead the development and execution of project plans, timelines, and milestones for Ecommerce initiatives.
Oversee the accuracy and consistency of product information and relevant digital assets to enhance customer experience.
Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to identify and address customer pain points, ensuring a seamless online experience.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of Ecommerce operations and identify areas for improvement.
Partner with IT to ensure the Ecommerce platform is robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and effective communication across all teams involved in the Ecommerce channel shift.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve Ecommerce operations.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and business meetings effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with all project stakeholders, including all levels of users and senior management.
Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
Effective planning, prioritizing, and goal-setting skills.
Strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
Strong personal interest in digital technology and awareness of industry standards or best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent work experience.
2-4 years of experience in a Technology Adoption role with a focus on operational project management and customer-facing initiatives.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational changes is a plus.
Willingness to learn, listen, and teach.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
