SUMMARY

Our ecommerce team is undergoing a significant site migration to Shopify 2.0, and we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Ecommerce Intern to join our small but mighty team. This intern will primarily support our recipe project, assist with other migration tasks such as PDP cutovers and merchandising, and provide overall support to the ecommerce manager. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on ecommerce experience with a rapidly growing company. You will get to lead an impactful project that drives key results and benefit from hands-on learning and professional development in ecommerce.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Recipe Project (60%):

  • Lead the manual rebuilding of over 300 recipes from 6 existing sites to a new Shopify 2.0 theme across all regions.
  • Create and format new blog pages for each recipe, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Build and maintain collections of recipes that highlight oven functionality, leveraging upsell opportunities and promoting brand ambassadors.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of recipe content into the new theme.
  • Monitor and update content as needed to ensure accuracy, relevance, and engagement with site visitors.
  • Support ongoing enhancements and updates to recipe-related features on the Shopify platform.
  • Actively contribute ideas for improving user experience and engagement with recipe content, reflecting consumer preferences and industry trends.


Development Agency Collaboration (10%):

  • Work closely with the development agency to ensure smooth migration and implementation.


Additional Projects (20%):

  • Assist in various ecommerce projects including collection redesign, compare 2.0, and homepage redesign.
  • Merchandise and optimize blog pages with compelling visuals, tags, and SEO-friendly content to enhance discoverability.


Open Study (10%):

  • Engage in self-directed learning and development facilitated by the ecommerce manager.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. If not in school, previous ecommerce experience preferred.
  3. A proactive, enthusiastic attitude and a go-getter.
  4. Able to work in person 3 days a week.
