As an entry level ecologist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of clients, markets, and projects driven by today’s complex environmental regulatory landscape. As part of a growing team of ecologists in Oklahoma City along with 120+ ecologists nationwide, you will collect data on wetlands, streams, aquatic life, threatened and endangered species, rare plants, and more! You will enter our career model where you aren’t just an assistant but a leader in training. You will learn what data to collect and how to collect it as part of a career model which will take you through leading field teams and eventually into project management and more.

- A desire to work outdoors and collect data;
- B.S. in a natural sciences field (e.g., Biology, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Zoology);
- 0-2 years’ professional ecological or biological experience;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a large team of ecological experts who will teach you a wide variety of skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Valid driver’s license.
