Director of Product Management

Aperio Global is seeking a Director of Product Management. This role is responsible for driving product innovation for the development of our products, from ideation to launch. This includes the creation, development, design, pricing, marketing, sales and improvement of products. They ensure products meet customer requirements, align with strategic goals, and meet key milestones. Essential functions include the following:

• Direct the product development process ensure key milestones are met and align with the overall product strategy.
• Shape the vision and roadmap of the product development process. Conduct research, identify customer needs and identify goals for the product.
• Direct the work of cross functional teams to ensure alignment with product milestones.
• Monitor the performance of the product against key metrics and goals using data driven insights.
• Oversee the budget and resources allocated for the product, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maximizing the return on investment.
• Develop and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Ensure sales strategies are aligned with product development.
• Maintains industry expertise on products and technologies through training and research.
• Manage the communication of status updates and product performance insights. Provide regular, clear, and comprehensive reports on progress, metrics, milestones achieved and any challenges.

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field required
• 8-10 years experience in related field required
• In lieu of degree, a total number of 14 years experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  
  

Physical Job Requirements

• This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time  
• The person in this role must be able to kneel, crawl or crouch down to fulfill the essential functions of the role less than half the time  
• The person in this position must be able to maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) [less than 15 lbs.  
• This position requires the ability to spend most of the time viewing computer monitors
